Dedicated to Sri Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Sri Vishnu who vanquished the wicked Hiranyakashipu and spared his follower from atrocities, Narsinghji Temple is a historic temple in Hindaun, Rajasthan. This little shrine, which is well-known in northern India, houses its deity inside a cave.
The Narsingh ji gufa temple was built along the Hindaun-Karauli route, some 15 kilometres from the city of Hindaun. In a cave or gufa, there is a statue of Sri Narsingh Ji.
