The festival begins with the ceremonious construction of three majestic chariots, each dedicated to a specific deity. The main chariot belongs to Lord Jagannath and is called Nandighosa, followed by the chariots of his siblings, Balabhadra and Subhadra, named Taladhwaja and Darpadalana, respectively.

Upon reaching Gundicha Temple, the deities rest for a brief period before returning to the Jagannath Temple in a similar grand procession known as Bahuda Yatra. The return journey marks the conclusion of the Ratha Yatra festival, and the deities are welcomed back to their abode with great fanfare and celebration.
