Lord Hanuman Birth Story

Born story of Lord Hanuman:We simply try to comprehend if the fascinating tales in mythology are real by wrapping our minds and fingers around them. Even though they are only stories, they have their own appeal and offer us a wealth of knowledge, therefore the questions don’t matter, and we embrace the stories nevertheless (if we are willing to learn, of course). After saying this, let’s jump right into what transpired to cause Lord’s mother (Anjana) to meet her death in her previous incarnation.
Punjiksthali and Durvasa’s Story:
Rishi Durwasa once attended a solemn gathering in heaven that Lord Indra had called. While everyone was deeply engaged in a brainstorming session, Punjiksthali, a celestial nymph, was unintentionally pacing back and forth between the meeting.Rishi Durvasa, who was known for his rage, forbade her from doing so, but Punjiksthali merely disregarded his order and carried on with her motion, infuriating the saint. “You have been acting like a monkey, hopping from here to there exactly like a mischievous monkey; better become one yourself,” cursed Durvasa, calling her a monkey.
When Punjiksthali heard Durvasa’s curse, she was devastated and pleaded with him to pardon her, saying that she had no idea her ignorance would end in such a fate. She relocated Rishis Durvasa, who changed his curse in her favour because a curse could not be reversed but just diminished or improved.Rishi Durvasa softened her curse in light of what had transpired, saying, “Listen dear one, don’t cry, in your next birth you will marry a Lord but he will be a Monkey, and then give birth to an avatar, a very powerful son, and a devoted disciple of Rama.” Punjiksthali acknowledged her new destiny and felt fortunate.
Anjana gave birth to Punjiksthali, a monkey named after Monkey Lord Viraj. She later married Monkey Lord Kesari when she was of marriageable age. After that, she had a fulfilling marriage. In the quiet atmosphere of the arena, where saints engaged in holy rituals and people were full of love, Anjana and Kesari were living peaceful lives. But one day Shankhbal, a wild elephant, lost control and started a commotion. So much so that people died and Saints were unable to carry out their ceremonies. While grieving and in love with Shankbal, Lord Kesari killed the wild elephant with his bare hands and removed his tusks. The saints then granted him a blessing of a son who will be incredibly strong and have the strength and speed like a wind.
Birth of Lord Hanumanji
When Lord Hanuman was born to Anjana and Lord Kesari, Rishi Durvasa’s curse (or blessing, depending on how you look at it) finally began to work. Punjaksthali was thus free to return to heaven because the curse had been lifted.Thitunelli Temple Official website Link
